Environmental & Net Zero Commitment
Acer Tree Care is committed to supporting the UK Government’s target to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. As an arboricultural contractor we recognise the importance of reducing environmental impact while delivering essential tree management services.
To support this commitment Acer Tree Care will:
• Reduce operational emissions through efficient route planning and vehicle sharing
• Maintain vehicles and equipment to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions
• Recycle 100% of wood arisings for reuse as mulch, biomass or habitat material
• Retain suitable timber on site where appropriate to support biodiversity
• Use local suppliers where possible to minimise transport emissions
• Continue reviewing operations and adopting lower-carbon equipment where practicable
Acer Tree Care will monitor and review working practices regularly to support continuous improvement towards the UK Net Zero 2050 target.
